Berlinale Talents Circle of Friends
The saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child, and we believe it takes a village to nurture talent too. You can become a part of that effort by joining the Berlinale Talents Circle of Friends and help support our future Talents by contributing whatever you can.
Your donation, no matter the size, helps us support the next generation of Talents to join us in Berlin and gain access to international networks, joint projects and shared visions. And because we believe in the power of the community, we even have a number of ways to show you how appreciative we are of your support!
Where Does Your Money Go?
Your contribution goes directly to the Talents who require financial assistance:
- 20€ could cover a Talent's meals for one day
- 50€ could cover one night's accomodation
- 100€ could cover part of six nights of accommodation in a simple hostel for one person
- 250€ could cover accommodation and meals in Berlin
- 500€ could already cover part of a flight
- 1000€ could cover part of travel and accommodation for one person
What does joining the Circle of Friends offer you?
No matter what you give, you make an impact by enabling talent from all over the world to join Berlinale Talents, offering much-needed assistance to filmmakers in situations of hardship. Your support means a lot, and so we'd like to recognise it with a range of tokens of our appreciation
For support in the value of €25, you will receive a template that you can use on your social media profile image saying "I helped support Berlinale Talents 2026. For €50, the template plus Berlinale Talents notebook and stickers. For €100, all of the above plus your name will be shown on a Thank You slide at the Berlinale Talents Opening Ceremony. For €200, you'll receive an exclusive invitation to our Closing Party
You will also be included in a Thank You newsletter update and social media post after the festival.
For those who can make larger contributions, we can also offer additional bonus packages, for example: a behind-the-scenes tour of Berlinale Talents, an invite to a Berlinale Talents event etc.
As a non-profit organisation, we are allowed to provide a tax deductible donation receipt on your request.
